Milk Donors
The person donating their pumped milk MUST be present and bring their ID when dropping off donated milk. Milk donations will only be accepted during specific drop-off times when staff or trained volunteers are available.
Milk donation guidelines:
Milk must already be frozen.
Every bag labeled with the date.
Milk cannot be older than 4 months from the date it was frozen.
Milk can only be accepted if the person pumping is LESS THAN 12 months postpartum.
Every donor MUST fill out a health disclosure form that includes all medications, supplements, and substances they have used within the timeframe of the pumped milk donated.
Donations will not be anonymous. Each donation will be assigned a number and the disclosure form will be provided to the recipient of the milk.
IDs are required from donors to accept donated milk. This helps us ensure the person donating the milk is the person who made it.
The safety of the babies receiving the milk is our top priority, which is why we will not accept donations from anyone who is unwilling to abide by these guidelines.
